I'm very excited to bring you the news of a new TV Show coming this fall to the CW on Thursday nights! Based on the four book series by L.J. Smith,
The Vampire Diaries features a love triangle between Elena Gilbert and the two vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon Salvatore. The series is of the Young Adult Genre and takes place in a high school setting in a small New England Town that is haunted. The books are filled with suspense, action, love, and surprising twists. If you have not yet read the books, this summer would be a great time to get caught up on them before the series hits the air this fall. In addition to the first three which were released in the early 90's;
The Awakening, The Struggle and the Fury, fans were so into the books that after a several year hiatus the author is revisiting the series. The fourth book came out in February of this year,
The Dark Reunion, and now the author has been commissioned to write three more books for the series,
Nightfall, Shadow Souls, and Midnight. The previews for the new show look promising, and hopefully will follow the books fairly closely. Check out the link below to see the reccently released preview from the CW!
